*Clears Throat* I have Ram Air.... Thanks for remembering... And don't say you never knew... I told you about when we talked about the other Ram Air.... Geez, Mods these days..... You'd almost think they had some "responsibilities" around the site or something....

Dame, I personally don't consider what you have as ram air. Alot of members run a duct or hose exposed at the front.
Ram air usually involves a scoop, and some type of compression of the air. Hence the term "Ram".

Ram Air in it'* truest form isn't even effective at speeds below something like 100mph. For those with forced induction (superchargers), the idea is to provide the coldest air possible.
If you like, you can go and see what I had on my Grand Prix at the link below. It was all custom made by me out of 6mm Lexan and the PCM was housed inside the CAI;

I fellow I know from OQCGP posted his version of a custom CAI here;

Cheers,

Okay... Aside from it being hard to get into the car, Fiberglass doesn't really have an R value, so you'd have to line it with Celotex or the like, But it would look really nice if color coordinated to your other engine enhancements.

IM not gunna worry about the fiberglass. im gunna use lexan for sure that cai in that second link looks great and i have a few more ideas for it besides a cai. Im not gunna do this anytime soon because my money is already spent for a long time but im gunna keep that link in mind and try it out later.

Lexan still won't have an R value... But then again with the airflow inside it the Delta T would have to be kinda high to reallly affect it...
