well I got some new parts and i am excited... Heck I tossed and turned thinking about the setup I want. I got to thinking. I am the proud owner of an 02 sle and well I was looking at the steup and how it has the y pipe. I got to thinking and I got a couple ppl to help me. I was thinking to remove the resonator. Put the new high flow cat in where the old one is. Then take wher the Y is and make it more straight to the 2 new 2.5 mufflers I got. When I was thinking of that i got to thinking would it hurt flow to cut the main pipe at close to a 45 degree angle and the weld the two other pipes going to the mufflers and then make another cut and weld on a small chunk of pipe to the muffler inlet. Would this setup cause any unwanted turbulence or more back pressure vs going with a more blunt Y or T pipe like the guy at the muffler shop said to do and bend it. I think he said it would have a smoother flow which would be better right. i was also thinking do the Y like I said the do a mandrel bend right by the muffler that I could get at summit. Any more ideas or ideas on mine would be appreciated TIA
