Ever wonder what a GN would do with an L67?

Not really.
The LC2 has proven itself down into the nines on stock internals with a RJC block girdle.
I mean, if you're building one because you can't get a hold of a decent stock block, then sure, why not. But if you think replacing an LC2 with an L67 means its going to be faster, better, stronger, just because its newer, I think you'll be disappointed. But hey, its your car, so good luck!

Okay, so I have no clue what I'm talking about. I'm an ***. What else is new.
And actually its been in 9s without a girdle IIRC. But thats taking chances.
I'll shut up now.
No wonder my post count is low here.

I don't know what I'm talking about 3800 wise, but I think the whole issue with the Series is highly overdone. GP'* have been modding the older blocks for a long time. There seems to have become a general consensus here because a few took tired old blocks that should have been donations to the scrap heap got medium modded and fell apart. Pictures of twisted iron seem to play better than the fact people do mod out older blocks with success. I dry nitrous-ed a Series I in a 92 Buick tuna boat and had alot of fun with it. Sure it went to the grave suffering. But alot of fun was had making that battleship of a boat get up and go. Now its my turn to go sit and Shut my mouth. hehehe.

As far as the why... Why not. I run a restoration shop for GN'* and T-types. I have a shelf of stage 2 ARCA engines staring at me, I have well over 10 109'* sitting here. I had 1 L67. I want to give it a shot. If it helps to ease your pain this is replacing a hot-air engine You and I have no clue what this is going to do when I slap the 88mm on there with the 85#ers and a cottons front mount. The motor has been built to handle some good boost as it sits. I am guessing at LEAST mid 10'*.
