Drop springs..

Look for posts here by 95NASTA. He has dropped his several times, with different configurations. Someone over on the other one just asked about it, so it should be near the top.

My Bonneville was refitted with air hydraulics. The system was near $3000 and all custom made. If you really wanted to lower an '88, I'd cut the springs. Just about anything else will cost you more than the car is worth.
Bonnevilles are a full sized 4 door sedan. Unfortunately Aftermarket companies aren't interested in making parts for a very select small number of people who want to customize them. If you chose to be one, you have to expect to do a lot of fabrication and spend money.
All the way up
Down as far as possible without scraping the front air dam and splash gaurds.

Even with the best money you can't avoid that. When I ride the GXP as low as pictured, it'* rough. I normally used it just covering the tires. Ride is going to depend are how far you go. Taking out one twist shouldn't be that bad. Does the car have rear air ride?

Yes, the car have Air Shocks in the rear. But I had to put some spring Boaster in the rear. On one side of the car. I think one shock isn't working. I seen on ebay that they had some springs for this car. for 189.00. but I think if I just cut the front. It willn't hurt my Ride. I has a Civic drop about 3" on Coil-over. on 17" rim. It ride o.k,But the road in Al. are smooth.. Also I'm getting 20" or 18" for this car. I just want to drop this car to cover the Wheel Gap. I hate wheel gap. And I love low cars.. I would show pictures of my Honda'*.. But I don't want to **** anyone off, Of show a Import !! X-D

We don't get pissed. LOL At least not since I took the drivers wheel. We have "Your Other Ride" just for members to show other cars/interests. The rear airshocks can be "adjusted" very easily by shortening the load leveling rod. There is a rod attached to a switch with a round spring on it near the front inside of the rear wheel well. It is on the drivers side on the 2005, but I think it'* on the passenger side for your generation. Its not hard to find.
