Heard a bit today about closer to the end of the week. I'm using my "Auto repair consumer rights" to my advantage a bit by asking for each part he is replacing. That way I know he'* doing work. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my old oil pump so I know he'* that deep. Its crazy I have to do this but ahh...Oh and thanks for the bump

did they check the bearings yet? if the oil pump went, i bet they are damaged

Thanks but like I said I don't think he'* done anything up until replacing the oil pump, and that was just because I gave him a new one.

how long did it run with no oil pressure? it doesnt take long to wipe out the bearings. it can be done in seconds
