Yeah the lovely people on this earth that have the power to make you wait for your engine, heh. Anyway the hypereutectic pistons were more of his idea but I think they'll work out pretty well. Because of the differences in the buildling process Hypereutectic is a little lighter resulting is less reciprocating weight. Also it allows the ring landing higher on the piston, again reducing weight, and resulting in much lower emissions. If tuned properly it will perform just as well as forged. Forged is nice when something does go terribly wrong it'll generally last a little longer BUT this doesn't mean it'll stay perfect longer. At nearly the same pressures Hypereutectic pistons will basically fragment into pieces and go all around the engine, the forged will actually warp and look like someone shook jello and flash froze it. The resulting misshapen piston can still easily impact your heads and grind its way up and down the cylinder. Either way you'll end up with major engine damage but generally the forged piston will give you a little more time to fix a problem before falling apart. So basically if tuned properly Hypereutectic actually has advantages to forged but if something does go wrong it'll suck more.

Yeah it'd be nice but its hard to believe this guy'll settle for my probable asking price. Because I feel that the cold cranking it was the cause that means that even though this is the only bearing proving damage all of the rest went under the same load and have bascially 100,000mi of damage on them so all of them are going to be replaced. Every bearing and everything that needed oil and shows any form of damage is going to be replaced and that'll get pricey. Like I said I'll have to see how things go.

Well I went out last night and his car was there but he didn't answer the door, surprised? I looked at the car and there was cob webs growing on the tires, so I think its safe to assume he didn't even begin to do work. So today I called him at home, no answer, his cell...no answer. So I called his home back again the started to leave a message that it was "Very important that" he calls back. Mid-sentence he picks up and I say "Yeah I was hoping to find out what was going on with the engine." He says "Yeah...I'm not going to be able to warranty this, you've been beating it up. I've got pictures of the nitrous hooked up and everything." whoa, I said "Hold up here, that nitrous line was not only NOT hooked up but the line isn't even long enough to have BEEN hooked up! I see you're trying to get out of this but it isn't going to work" he said "Yeah well I've got another way to get out but I didn't want to do it." "Yea whats that?" "Oh filling for Chapter 7 bankruptcy" Ooooohhh I was soo pissed. He also said "OH you've been planning on suing me for a while, comming out here and taking pictures of everything." I said "Whoa! I have a webpage I update thats all!" "yea yea You can talk to my lawyer if you have any other questions." AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Oh and when I got there I popped the hood and the IAT sensor which I had hooked up the day prior to taking it out there was pulled out of the intake hose. My thought is that he disconnected it, hooked everything up in another fashion that would allow the nitrous line to reach, take pictures of it, then return it back to the way he thought I left it. Then while I'm there waiting for the tow truck that took the car home he'* outside with a video camera and recording the whole thing...wonder what his plan is with that tape?! I dunno, depending on the backruptcy thing when I do go to court any competent judge should know that I'm not going to beat up a nearly $10,000 investment by running nitrous in it the first 100miles!!! Holy crap, any half brained moron knows you have to break in the engine!! And as you can read from my earlier posts not only did I fully plan on "pampering" it but also that I was not even comfortable hooking up the nitrous! I can't believe this guy. This is going to get very ugly I can see it now

WTF!!!!
Maybe someone can verify this for me but I heard that not too long ago they may have changed the bankrupcy laws in your favor. IT was something about fileing for bankruptcy no longer eleviates all you debts. Too many people were fileing with huge debts and getting to keep all their crap and not have to pay for it. If this is true then him fileing will just hurt him more and not neccissarly make it so he doesn't have to deal with you anymore. Like I said, I heard this on the news or something a while back but it might be worth checking into or something.
I hope you get everything taken care of. That'* gonna be a sweet ride if it ever gets up andd going right.

hmmm, you can always use your posts for evidence, and i am sure any of us would be glad to testify on your behalf. Tell him you have over 1000 witnesses glad to testify. Was the warranty paid and signed before all of this happened?
