Whoohoo I'd love to have the pics of the 95 man. I'm on MSN Messenger as Sonicoverdose@hotmail.com or Yahoo as Krayz20 . or just post a message here and let me know your preferred method of sending. Will, No I don' t still have your cell but I wish I did I have 4710234 questions for you. PM it to me !. Oh and I'll definately take a trip down there. I plan on driving that direction anyway the first weekend it gets done so I can put some miles on it, wouldn't mind meeting up with you while I'm there. Aight now that thats outa the way on to the update. Today and last night sucked! Last night I spent like 2 hours trying to squeeze my hand in impossible places to get the power steering pump mounted. Before the engine was in I thought it went further down on the engine so we left it in the bay when we dropped the engine in. Well it goes right under the alternator so I had to shimmy it up there and get the bolts in. After 2hours of cussing I got it. Then today we're playing around installing a few things and we noticed a huge error. We didn't install the rear exhaust manifold!! AHHH! The only way to get it in is to pull the engine, so guess what we did.....a few hours later the engine is back in and the belts are installed on the front.. Oh and I got to pull the power steering pump off while it was out and install a few different bolts that were needed. So last night was a total waste of pain. Annnyyywaaayy so now we have a big problem again. This shi@ doesn't end. The rear bell housing bolt sits right under the newly installed exhaust manifold and there is no way to get to it. We even tried pulling the passenger tire and using a 4 foot extension with the bolt lightly glued to the socket and someone on the other end with a mirror and a flash light trying to line it up. Hey don't laugh too much we could get it on the hole but each time we tried twisting it it would fall out. So tomorrow I get to crawl under the car and try pulling the exhaust off enough to move it so I can fit my fat hand in there and put the bolt in. What a pain in the as$ waste of time! Tomorrow I'm going out around 7am to start working on it. First off I have to pull that exhaust and find a way to get the last bell housing bolt in. Then after that miracle I have to install the front exhaust manifold and bolt up the flex plate to the stall converter again. Oh and I'm pulling the huge *** transmission cooler and sending that to performance radiator. The trans guy said it looked real ugly inside the trans and doesn't trust the gunk in the cooler so if performance radiator can't clean it out enough I'm gonna buy a new one. btw performance radiator is the same people that did my radiator, imagine that... Aight so on to the interesting stuff. I found out today where to get a stroker kit and full roller rockers of almost any ratio! The stroker kit is pricey at $1700 but it comes with forged pistons, eagle titanium rods, and a custom built forged crank. I don't have the price on the roller rockers yet but they come in 1.6-1.8 ratios, and yes roller tips. Oh and I didn't forget about the series I cam I was talking about in another post. I'm trying to get the cores cheaper. Either that or I could tack on a core charge and just send out a cam until I get a core back. That'll keep the price to just over $100 for a bigger cam! Yes yes I know, I'm the man. haha just kiddin. But yeah so there really isn't anything at this point I can't get for the series I. Got the dual spring valve springs, stainless steel valves, titanium keepers, roller rockers, stroker kit, and teflon coated pistons. Whats on your shopping list? heh, I want the damn stroker kit. I'm going to start putting the pennies away for that special day. Worlds first (as far as we know) stroked series I anyone? Like I said in some of the first posts I did on this. I wanted to find resources for all you Series I guys that wanna put more than "Tinted windows" in the mods portion of your sig, did I succeed?

Hrm when and where is it? I'll see about making it there. Anyway back up to SSEI95 (or anyone else) is there anyway I can get a picture or good description of where the MAP sensor actually mounts. I might be missing some bracket that it mounts to because I can't figure it out. I got its placement in relation to the superchargers PCV plate but there is nothing currently on my engine to mount it to. appreciate the help

Dr. Jay,

Where did you get your MSD setup from, as well as the NGK plugs?

I got the MSD setup from www.SummitRacing.com. All of it was about $600 + *&h. I can't recall where I got the plugs from but I'm sure you can check www.NGKSparkPlugs.com for a local dealer. They're like $1.50 ea.

Aight so on to the update.Today (actually in about 10min) I'm going back out to finish up what I can. We have most of the sensors plugged in already and the throttle body is installed. Quite a bit got done already. The starter is installed and so is most of everything else. Just have like 6-7 sensors left to plug in and boom, I'm basically done. I have to buy a new hose for the transmission to cooler lines and a few other nick nack things. I'm hoping to get under it and plug everything in and possibly begin thinking about starting it today. Aight well enough b.*'ing I gotta get some work done!
