Also good to have is the MSD 8.5 plug wires, extremely low resistance wires and not a horrible buy for $73, also from Summit Racing. For the Series I you have to get the universal wires and cut-to-fit, no biggie. I also went an got some more exhaust wrap from Design Engineering. I love this stuff, it can really lower your under hood temps. I already have it over the front side exhaust and the upper coolant hose closest to the intake. I also used to have it around my intake hose. I got a second roll from the local shop ($27-37 bucks!) for the exhaust, intake tube, and coolant lines. I'm working on getting the right fuel injectors. Using the equasion thats floating around the internet its suggested I buy injectors rated for an 1100hp engine. I bet that perked some ears but nooo I'm only expecting 385 with the nitrous tweaked. (Btw I'm also looking at flipping to a wet system..hmmmm) So as with about every other part I have I've sent that out to about every pontiac enthusiast I could find to get suggestions. Have any? I'm searching local shops to find the best deal on getting all the block work done. There'* a machine shop right down the street but it, for some reason, wasen't open today. I guess they don't like working on Tuesdays. Progress is steady and I don't want to rush it but I can't wait! I'm prepping for the future so I'm also talking with PST (Performace Suspension Technology) to get a complete kit for the ride. The kit includes:
2 Upper Ball Joints
2 Lower Ball Joints
4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Upper Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 or 4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Lower Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Strut Rod Bushings (if required)
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Stabilizer Links
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Sway Bar Bushings with Brackets
Control Arm Bumpers (for most *)

This is for the Super front end kit. Seeing as this is for everything BUT a Bonneville I may not need some of these parts and may need parts that aren't included, also getting them to fit... so we'll have to wait and see what they come up with for me. Comments?

umm well...not stock parts. I'm not familiar with suspensions, this was supposed to be a "high performance" part list. What would you suggest?

No it looks like the parts are not stock and quality will be far superior..but the format will still be stock? The reason I am asking is the need for good drop spindles and I have a company willing to make a full modified parts list for our suspensions so we can ride low and with a perfect alignment.

A body shop friend of mine was telling me that because of the way our suspension is set up the only way to get perfect allignment with a lot of drop is to used drop spindles.
Something about how we don't have camber adjustments bulit into the stock suspension.

hmm...like I said I don't know the first thing about suspensions, I'm all engine. Really should learn more about them though. What are the benefits of this? Drop spindle? Hate to sound that ignorant but hey if ya don't know ya don't know. By the way I FINALLY posted some old pics of my car before I touched it with heavier performance. It doesn't seem like its working though, when I link to it it says the album is empty but when I log in it shows them all. Even though it doesn't seem like many people are interested (or at least posting) I'll go ahead and give you an update. I got most of my parts already and the engine is at a buddies house about 3/4 out of the car. Almost everything is out of the way already; alternator, fans, radiator, tires (you have to pull the half shaft too), wiring harness, ac compressor and other bits and pieces. Tomorrow should be another 2-3hours and its out. I rented a garage near by so I can work on it and already I've lenghtened my list of things to buy. The alternator squeeks a little when you spin it by hand, a sign of things to come. I need a bigger one anyway because my stereo is bumping my lights on and off too. Also the powersteering pump whines a little when I turn the wheel and since its so conveniently localted on the bottom left (as looking at the front) of the engine it'l be another replacement just to save the $ later. All the head/exhaust/intake/block work will go to Performance Engine Development Inc. Its a local company and it was suggested by quite a few people. I'm about to go clean and repaint a few parts so post if your interested and I'll keep it more updated (with photos). Any suggestions on an engine color? The shop down the road carries lots of blue parts and I'd like the block to match...?

Definately going to dyno it. Probably not going to be able to test it at the flywheel because of a few different reasons but I'll definately know whats at the tires. I'm hoping for about 400hp with the nitrous! Thats actually my goal, I'm going to do everything I can to do at least that much. I have another car so I'll work on the engine for a few months if I have to in order to get there. Wonder how many 400hp Bonnevilles there are out there..? Especially with a stock look. Anyway I'm updating http://photos.yahoo.com/krayz20 as I type. My dumbass forgot to take the camera with me when I started pulling the engine today so there'* just a few pics of me painting the fans n ****. Tomorrow I promise I'll have pics of the engine being pulled and on a stand just keep checking. Comments?
