Dr. Jay said,
I think you meant to say 3800 pictures, right? or is it even bigger now?
I've enjoyed reading how your rebuild is going. I live in MD now but i'm originally from Poulsbo.
I have like 3000 pictures that aren't posted on yahoo just sitting on my computer.

I'm still alive! I haven't been keeping up with this I know but like I said before nothing to report daily anymore. I went down to the shop yesterday to check on it and things are going great. The exhaust side of the heads are ported like CRAZY. I can damn near fit a silver dollar in those jokers and for those of you that have seen those tiny D ports before you know thats going to be a huge difference. OH and I don't have all the details but he got me a custom ground cam too! WHOOHOOO! I'm not sure where he got it but he says its "just below where your computer would get confused". I'm so friggin excited to try it out. If anyone else is interested I'll find out how much he'* getting them for and maybe you can get one for yourself. Of course thats after I test it out to make sure everything works right with it. Its down to the weeks now. He is also putting 6-7 coats of a high gloss black paint on the block so that should look nice. He assures me he can have it done by a week and I've already got him paid off and enough money left over to put the engine in plus extra just incase. Anyway I gotta go to work I'll take pics tomorrow and let you guys see those ports.

So for those of you that are curious I got the specs on the cam. There was a full page of specs so I picked out the more interesting ones. Here ya go:
Lift: .412 intake .426 exhaust
Dur: 195.9deg exhaust 191.6 intake
Lobe center: 107.9deg intake 114.9deg exhaust
He says its just far enough to get good performance without messing up the computer. Yeeehaaaa
Oh and I don't see why it wouldn't work on another similar engine. I've just got a supercharger and beefed up parts. its the head configuration that matters most.
This thing is going to be an animal.

I got the 2.2" pulley for the supercharger so that should make things more interesting. I don't like the idea of hitting nitrous with that much heat so I might wait till I get an intercooler before using juice again. Really I'd like to have the cryogenic intake more plus I can afford that on a whim. I bet I'll buy it the first time I lose to a car haha. Thats what I did with the Jet chip. I raced my friends BMW and lost so I turned around and drove straight home, got online, and got myself a stage 2 chip immediately. haha I'm a dumbass sometimes but hell its more performance I'm also having a friend of mine build me a scoop for the intake so it isn't breathing next to the exhaust. This guy is awesome when it comes to aerodynamics and air flow. He makes model airplanes that weigh grams. Right now he'* working on 3 designs made of fiberglass. Should be interesting.

Ooh oooh how about the cryogenic intake/intercooler sprayer PLUS the intercooler...mmmm I like that idea. A huge intercooler with compressed co2 sprayed on the intake sleeve then released on the intercooler, I'd like to have 1deg intake temps when its 95 outside....On an unrelated note, anyone know where to get a good/cheap power steering pump? I found one place that offers a reman for $85 but the page asking for credit card info isn't secure. I'm a little wary about that so decided not to go with it. I don't really NEED one but it whined so its a sign I need to take care of it before I reinstall the engine. I'd hate to have to pull crap back out just to get to the pump. I really can't think of anything else I could use or replace right now. I've had nightmares about almost every bolt on there. Its gotta be funny watching me wake up and call the engine guy to have him order a new bolt cause I freaked out about it. Ya know I want another 150+k out of this thing and I'd hate for it to end sooner because of some stupid little $1.25 bolt I neglected. And it didn't help watching a new NSX explode on the dyno. WTF is up with these dynos? How much load do they really give? I've seen a GN, NSX, Supra, and a Trans am explode on one
