I went and checked on the engine today. Not a WHOLE lot of progress but he did finish balancing it and he'* working on hogging the valves and installing hardened seats. I posted some photos of it on the web page for you to check out. Other than that he'* gotten two of the cylinders bored out and looking pretty, photo of that also on the web page. And so the waiting game continues....He'* done with all the engines but mine so progress should be a lot faster. I can't wait to get the performance stats, the breakin period is going to be forever. I don't know if I could resist temptation not to haul *** in it till 1000 miles but I'll have to. Anyway thats whats up today.

there has been so much action here, mabye I missed it, but what are you going to do about stopping power. Now that you are deep in the midst of the Performance rebuild you'll have to stop that baby
Any plans? or did I miss the plans?

Yeah I am going to get some good brakes but that won't be till later. After the engine and trans I'm going to take a little break and buy a few other things I've been neglecting. This car is going to be a complete package in a few years, should be exciting.

hehe kinda both! I've really had nothing new to report its all a waiting game now and a "where the hell am I going to find the cash" game haha. As of yet all the cylinders have been bored out, I have 99% of the parts already and all the valves have been hogged and hardened seats installed. The whole rotating assembly has been balanced and the intake is going under the drill to be ported. We're waiting for an exhaust gasket for a guide plate to port the exhaust. Ya know they have exhaust gaskets? It didn't when I took it apart! I mean I know its customary to have a gasket there but I thought it was odd that Pontiac didn't include one. Aparently it did and someone else had taken it out for whatever reason. Anyway its on its way. Also got new "hi-performance" (whatever that means) umbrella seals for the valves. How hi-performance could they possibly be? Whatever, I guess I just like hearing that heh. Uhhmmm...The transmission guy is taking his sweet time which I guess is ok because with paying for school and my usual extremely expensive lifestyle the $1,000 I still owe him isn't comming easy. Not a real problem just not convenient at the moment so I guess its good they're taking their time. I'm seeing if I can pull the remaining $2000 to pay for it and install the engine out of my *** in the next week or so. Hope that works out. So the time is kinda iffy, it all depends on when I can trip over a suitcase full of cash and all the ducks are in a row. I will say this though, if its not done this month I'm selling the TV. haha. Anyway thats whats up for now. If you guys have any questions or want pictures of almost anything just ask. I have like 3000 pictures that aren't posted on yahoo just sitting on my computer.
