Your M62 is essentially at it'* peak already. dropping to a 2.0 will run it hot i bet.
The m90 doesn't need nearly as many revs as the M62 for equal boost, because it'* longer. If they dropped to a 2" pulley they'd pop rods out of every which way.

you also have to worry about the SC spinning itself to death and dumping crap into your engine.
Sounds like a good plan. GET A GOOD SHOP!!! The IC that BonEvil is working on...that would help your situation out alot. Maybe allow you to drop to the smaller pulley.
Screw the M112. GET A TURBO!

im workin on the IC guys....Christmas just drained my credit cards along with the new brakes on the Buick the new exhaust on the Buick and the rockers for the Bonne.....JEEZ I need funds!....so im thinking the prototype will hopefully be finished by february...I still got alot of work to do...Im still thinking of pulling the heads and LIM and gettin the whole thing P&Ped and getting SBC valvesprings (when I get the rockers) thats gonna cost a few bucks, and then I still gotta find a good CNC place in town to do my IC plate...then theres fabrication to do on all the stuff to make it fit. SOOOO hurry up and wait!!!

let'* try to get it right the first 3 times
or in under a year
but in all seriousness, best of luck, i hope you run into far fewer problems than your last run. maybe a 10 pager this time instead of a 20 pager?
oh, and what about that tranny? I don't remember everything you had done (tranny-wise), but are you comfortable with that kind of power?

dbtk2 - I totally understand your point, and I'm sure there will be a point at which the supercharger will be nearly useless to me. But would you agree that although it won't be the most possible, there will be a significant gain to be had with this? Maybe I'm missing something but suppose I keep the pulley the way it sits, maybe adding the stroker takes it down to 5psi. Would it still not qualify as a 4.3l with work done, and a 5psi supercharger? I completely agree an m112 would be a better choice, and I'd love to do it but doing a stroker and an m112 conversion at the same time would never get past the 'boss'.

If you have Yahoo or MSN chat I'd love to see, in real time, what your thoughts are.
However, what I would do in your situation, is browse the classifieds on club gp. Look for someone selling a used M90. You can usually find them in the neighborhood of $1-200. Then you would just have to fab up an adapter plate or something, and you would be making a lot more power. I don't think I would be messing around with the M62. Its just gonna be holding you back. Not only that, but the gain you will get from just switching blowers will be pretty big by itself.
