Custom Air Compressor
Wouldn't it be possible to add an air compressor which is made for air ride suspension for our cars? If added could damage occur to our elc struts?

First, I was tired of how its raised, instead of pumping air I want it to fill. Secondly I'm in the process of upgrading my suspension to air ride and basically was considering if it would be possible to use the ELC struts instead of the airbag struts?

Understood, but what I'm trying to say is, the factory compressor pumps air into the ELC strut bit by bit. If you delete your factory compressor to add a air management system to your ELC struts so you can just fill the struts continuously or lower the ride height whenever you want to?

Continuously? Why? You want to blow them? ELC doesn't raise or lower much. It just adds force to assist the springs to keep the car level.
And ELC doesn't fill bit-by-bit. It levels in just a few seconds depending on trunk loading.

Nevermind because I just thought about the coil springs. If I wanted to get an air suspension ride with ELC struts then I would have to remove the coil springs. right? With this being said, the ELC struts aren't strong enough to with stand the car load by itself anyway.
If I did keep the coil springs in and added an air management system to my ELC struts and lowered it then the car would be resting solely on the coil springs. right?

Before I answer any more questions, can I ask one? The one and only car that bagged here blew two transmissions due to incorrect axle thrust angles.
You got a trans fund set aside? ( <-------------that'* my question)
