Chip Tunning...
Ok Folks, I'm doing a Custom Chip for my car...

Any suggestions? I figure i'll raise the shift points some, as it shifts just under 5k, and SCed cars go above that. Limiter removed, firmer shifts.
What about EGR, Evap, and Idle'* and such? I'll probably have it setup for a 180 stat.
I don't have any data logging equipment now, but some guys were talking about OBD1 stuff earlier, would I be able to do this?

have your fans come on at a lower temp...play with your a/f ratios a little maybe? Are you sure your car can handle higher shift pts?

Jason, you really need to Dyno your car, or at the very least, Gtech your curves. You need to know where your hp and tq REALLY peak AFTER your mods in order to set the shift points correctly.
Guesswork won't cut it. Simply raising them by a certain amount may kill your performance if your curves are falling off at that point.
