I think that'* me.

I did the bottom half of the plexi before I broke down and bought a dremel (hacksaw ). It would look a lot cleaner otherwise. I used that dremel to also shave down the PVC collar - glad I got it. There'* probably a better tube material out there to use for the collar that would be just as stiff without being as thick - but I couldn't find/think of one at the time. You need the collar to mount the IAT and to connect the hose and filter since the K&N flange is only about 1/2" long and the same diameter as the intense hose. I've also since added some weatherstripping along the edge of the airbox to seal it better.

This is a stupid question, but you have the same style airbox I do right? Not the previous generation style I've seen on some other '95'* that'* super thin like pictured below? I forget exactly when the series II came out...
Even If we don't meet up I can help answer questions.

is it like that?
that'* my only engine pic, and it'* worse than that now.. every time i go to detail or wash out the engine compartment, parents always go 'OMG YOU'RE GOING TO SHORT SOMETHING OUT OR THAT ENGINE CLEANER WILL EAT THROUGH YOUR GASKETS"
so i have been forced to leave it like that.. but that was the first night i had the car, like fourth pic i took of it , haha

I was pretty sure you had the series II since you were planning the same mod - duh - but I knew of 95'* with the series I. 1993SLE pointed out that was only the supercharged models - hence my confusion and reason to ask the obvious
Again, I'll be happy to help answer quesitons as you go along, or if we happen to work on it together in a couple of weeks. In case you don't have it already, the K&N part number is RU-3130.
