has anyone questioned the guy about heatsoak, since it appears he is using steel tubing...? I know steel traps heat alot more than aluminum or rubber hose.. This might be a big disadvantage for any hardcore trackhounds

I found this quote here: SMACNA webpage
Aluminized steel is sheet carbon steel that has been hot-dip coated on both sides with an aluminum silicon alloy, thus meeting the requirements of ASTM A463/A463M. It is intended principally for heat-resistant applications or where atmospheric type corrosion (mild industrial, salt spray, or marine environment) is present.

I made one up for a local car that you set me up with. Its 3.5" (TB ID is alot less so its still oversize) and places the filter in the void behind the headlight, through the 4" hole in the inner fender. Im going to have his finished up in about a week and Im sure he will post pics. Just thought id let you know, and thanks for finding me a car. BTW they will be around $185 shipped, Im going to make sure everything works out OK on his before I give final pricing though.

Hey All.
Thats My Regal in the first set of pics. I stopped By Jmb performance tonight And saw the intake in the rough. I dont think you guys will have anything to worry about. Everything this guy makes is Show quality. I saved a few pics of the work he'* done. Im Glad he got a hold of a Bonnie to work off of as well.
Heres a few pics.
He did all the powder coating in this and the 3" intake for it as well. Even installed it.
All the powdercoating on this one as well, And some hand fabricated parts as well.

No these are some of his customers cars. I lost most of my online pics of my car when a server failed. I did find a pic of my srt-4 on his website though.
I have Electric Blue Powdercoat and a 3" Stainless Steel 1pc Cai. JMB Did this about 2 yrs ago for me. I had the Powdercoating done at the same time.
Heres a link to the Customer cars section. http://www.jmbperformance.com/customercars.htm Their all mopars right now but he'* done a ton of Other cars as well. Vettes, Vipers, Lightnings, Diesels of everymake I think and now he'* doing stuff for us 3.8 guys.

I think he may have done a series 1 a while back. I'll ask him.
But he'* up for whatever. Like the above stated, If he can get someone local to stop by and do a test fit so he can get a template made from a series 1.... your golden.

Just wanted to give everyone an update....the FIRST bonneville intake is done and at the shop. I got an email about it last night. I'm trying to set up a time to go over and do the install. I hear that the shiny blue is a thing of beauty, I can't wait to see it! As soon as it'* installed I'll post some pics and let you know how it is.
