both companies offer great products....
that being said...Intense is the only company that has done the testing and the reaserch specifically for the Bonneville....and Todd Allen is a member here and is the Customer Serivce Manager (i believe)
and from our experiences on this forum Intense has offered us better customer service than ZZp has

ZZP doesn't actually build the transmissions, but a shop nearby does. Supposedly they do excellent work and have been in the trans business for many years.
There are also other companies out there like Thrasher that can build up the 4t65'*.

Both build good product.
ZZP doesn't specialize in Bonnevilles like INTENSE.
INTENSE has tested their products in environments and situations that most people don't even know of.
While the applications may seem similar on the surface, there are a few nit-picky differences.
I'd have to say if it was a GP, it would be a tossup. If it'* a Bonneville, it'* INTENSE.

INTENSE hands down because of my experience with ZZP

INTENSE has better customer support and faster response time

I tend to think of performance in terms of just the engine and trans although Intense has gone the farthest with an 00+ bonneville.
With that said.
I tend to favor ZZP since I believe they have done the most with the L36.
They both offer a ton of great products for the L67 and 4t65. I've had experience with both as well as milzymotorsports and all have given me good customer service.
I think members on this board tend to favor Intense while other boards favor ZZP. I've read sucess stories and bad experiences from both. I would say due your homework on other boards as well since there is a greater amount of GTP owners using thier products. But, beware for bias everywhere.

I've had great luck with ZZP, great customer service, can't say that for INTENSE. Read up on some forums about the item your buying before choosing. Since usually we're talking about powertrain there is no difference between a GP and Bonneville.

Let'* start off with the basics.
What year do you have or what to build up?
Because if it'* 92-95 neither ZZP or Intense support much for those eras. Although your choice of transmission would make me think 97+
