B&M SHIFTPLUS+ INSTALLED
i called B&M and they told me the only thing they have for the 4T60E is a thing called the shiftplus+. so i got one from them. very simple install. took 10 mins. it is a controlled vac leak to the modulator on the trans. you can open and close the adjustable valve to your needs. wit it open, god did it firm the shifts up and delayed the upshift too.
great for only 43 bux

That'* cool I didn't think they made ANYthing for our transmissions.
So the install and adjustments were easy huh? I'm about to pick me up one of these.

i have 140,000 on my car. you dont need to open anything up at all. on the front of the tans, there is a vac. modulator valve with a vac line going to it. just replace the rubber line going to it and use a "T" fitting to install the shiftplus+ everything in included except the rubber hose to replace the one from the hard line to the modulator valve. it is very short so i replaced that with a 3" piece of silicone tubing.

The downside is the cost relative to the B&M unit.

B&M Shift Kit
:?: Where does the kit get installed? Is it near the tranny? Does it have an ON/OFF switch? If so, where does it get installed? If it'* in the interior, I guess the wiring needs to be fed through the firewall?
