Plus I hate the fact you have to refill it.... bad enough you've gotta refuel, but buying NOS could get very expensive very fast... and IMO the money would be better spent for upgrades that give a constant HP gain.

Nitrous isn't dangerous on it'* own. It'* only dangerous when just slapped on, and not done right. I think of it as something to use once you hit that glass ceiling.
Allmachtige isn't an exception, he'* an example. He didn't wan't to delve into the engine , he'* waiting for some forced induction.
It'* not NOS, NOS is a brand, and NX and Zex can be considered better in many ways. Nitrous is the correct term.

Along with what Jason said... NO2 is pretty safe and predictable for an engine. As long as you spray in moderation, and your not setup to shoot a 150shot or anything beyond what your engine can take, you should be good. I forget all the specifics behind it, but when nitrous oxide is sprayed it acts as a self-intercooler, often times lowering engine temps.... I mean hell, if the army used it, then it can't be deathly dangerous.

think about what you can pay for with those $75 refills. Not to mention n2o will drastically shorten the life of the engine and transmission over time.

Noone has said the Nitrous is dangerous. He asked why they don't use it, and they said because they don't trust it and/ot themselves with it.
