I wrapped it as far around as I could with the stock shielding intact. The jury is still out. I'm not sure I like this stuff. Because I couldn't wrap it fully everywhere, it'* trying to peel. Need to drive a bit more to be sure. I think I'm gonna pull my front manifold and crossover pipe, remove the factory shielding, and use real header wrap instead. We'll see.
That should be about a 4-hour project.

how does that wrapping compare to the other brown stuff that looks like a bandage? I was thinking about doing something with the brown stuff. You already had a heat shield on your manifolds???
