Anyone tried these chips off E-Bay?????
Just wondering if anyone had tried this, or what the hell it even was.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1842892366
He claims is some type of "performance chip" but we all know damn well it isnt much for $8.95 The ad claims it will work on all bonnevilles 95 and up and adds 10 horse. What the heck is this thing, and has anyone dare put it on their car? did it work? :?
Thanks!

Fake!!
Its a resistor that goes in place of your IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor. Makes your computer think the air is 32 degrees all the time.
The resistor can be purchased for less the $.50 at your nearest Radio Shack.
A guy at ClubGP installed one on his Grand Prix GT while he was dynoing it and actually lost 1fwhp.
If you really want to try it there are threads at ClubGP with all the info for the correct resistor, etc.
