Default Anyone take their Intense or DHP PCM Bonneville to the track

I'm wondering if anyone has taken their Intense PCM or DHP PCM equipped Bonneville to the track and done run'* with the stock PCM and reprogrammed PCM? I understand the learn time so I mean 1 week stock PCM and next week only mod since prior run being a PCM.

Anyone?
Todd, P-Dad, TaylorD, or anyone else? How much did it net you?
I figure once the upper end is redone that will be my first mod.

There were 4 bonnies at IDD, 2 had cams (ZZP VS I think) and I had rockers with PCM. I was faster than 1 and only .2 tenths slower then the other. The PCM did its job for sure. I'll let you know what I run this weekend now that my cam is in.

I had the bonne that just passed Rouge, and as said not by much. However, rouge, I did figure out I had a 3.25 and VS Cam, not a 3.4 like I thought *got it for free off a junked GP, looked like a 3.4 LOL*. I'm interested to know what times you run. I should be hitting the track to this weekend I hope with the new headers.

As for the topic, I'm savin for some PCM love right now.. I'll post my times on the stock PCM and times with the new one... considering the power this motor can make but doesn't due to shifting so soon, I think from the rev'* alone the car will be much faster than before... not to mention the added timing.

The big advantage will be the disablement of your torque mgmt....

Because instead of building a better, stronger transaxle they just coded the PCM to ccompensate. Stock 280 ft/lbs is still capable of hurting the trans during shifts and things when its throwing 30 lb torque convertors and 4100 lbs of weight forward.

Also the TQMGMT helps smooth out the car making it more luxury feeling.

If you replace your PCM with an INTENSE one you should get a case learn. If you have INTENSE flash YOUR PCM and have it returned you shouldnt need one.
