any pics of 255/50/R17'* on a 00+??
I really need to buy some new tires. I would like to get some wider tires, but 255/50/R17'* seemed huge the last time I saw them in this thread.
The picture links are all dead

So I am looking for a pic of any 2000+ with 255/50/R17'* installed.

Pat, you need to find a better tire shop.
My 245'* weren't even questioned, and I have relatively narrow rims. I suggest we get back on the topic as it was intended.

Go to the 2007 WCBF and 2006 WCBF and look at Paul'* car and my Wife'* car, both have 255/50-17'*
I've have had the 255'* on for 130,000 miles and have had no problem'* with the larger tires. I know the car handle'* better with the wider tires. The 255'* should have been an option for the SSEi.

sorry i don't have any pictures of mine but i ran a set of fuzion zr1'* on my 2000 ssei and they were great! they did rub a little when pulling in and out of parking spots and such. just have to try and remember not to turn the wheel all the way oh and mine where the same size you mentioned too, 255/50/17, and as far as i know a 255 is the widest you can go on our rims (8" or 8.5"?) i'm not sure but i remember the place where i got the tires telling me that 255 is the biggest for this rim. big difference in hanldling!
