The filter I have is K&N. Its like 6 inches long and 5.5 inches wide at the base, then around 4.5 near the top. The reducer I found goes from 3.5 inches to 3 inches. If your interested, I can get a better pic and try to find the PN# on the net. Trust me, for the price, you cant beat it. Yea the metallic wrap is the bubble stuff. Works like a charm

the basic requirements are: 3" ID (Inner Diameter), usually at least 6" long. Most of the PN'* will start with a RX- I believe.

Youll be fine with a big filter. But getting it to fit in a Series 2 could be tricky. I would definately be curious.
