The valve inline with the oem vac modulator can only adjust the shifts so far. Adjusting an adjustible vac modulator actually moves the valve in the modulator to change pressure.
In other words, you can't make your car shift harder at wot with a valve in line with the oem modulator. You can make it shift harder at lighter load though.

DB, that'* a modulator. But from that pic, I have no way of knowing if it'* adjustable or not. Just remember, from a performance standpoint, all it does is firm up the shifts.

Advance does carry the modulator.
It'* made by pro-king, the part number is MD28 (it comes in the same packaging that Bandit posted, if you look at the pics he posted by the barcode, it even says "MD-28")
The pic that DB208508 posted is correct with regards to the stock photo on advance'* website.
they're $17.48 at advance.
I have purchased 3 of them, and all 3 have worked great.
