If your going to mill the heads past 0.030", you should also get the LIM machined to match. When people go past 0.040" on the L36 they machine the LIM.

I figured there would have to be modifications to the rest of the block, "if you take a bit
from here, gotta take a bit from there too." so it equals out.

It depends on province. I know BC doesn't require them, but Ontario does. Dunno about Quebec.

I wouldn't delete it anyway. I had one off the SLEeper for a short period (bad cat, new one wasn't here yet) and it lost some obvious low-end bawls.

Emissions inspections are one thing. In the States, even if you live in an emission-test-free zone, it'* STILL illegal to run without a cat. Federal Law, all 50 states.

Yes it is illegal.
we have police looking around for modified exhausts.
you get a ticket.

The problem is that you cant pass inspection without one.
But BB doesnt have to go for inspection till 2014, because the car passed inspection
before i bought it.
The tints i ordered a while back got here a while back... its 35% front and 5% back (snaptint.com) im not too woried about passing inspection.

its ok I will do more reasearch,
everywhere i look on the net.. it says its a small increase, because it "free'*" up your
exhaust make it flow more. But pressure is required as you guys say..
phaaaaaaawck... i really have to do more research..
a highflow cat from the parts store
is around 90$.. dont know how much a magna will go for.. its not much $$$ but if i can save on anything.. i will go for it.. seein as how im going to dish out serious cash for cam
and tranny work.

thanks guys
