in the quest to be the fastest, you have to consider alot of things, Every car is different, and some are faster stock for stock, and im willing to bet you have the 2.84 ratio in your car too, that is a BIG limiting factor for you, that is the slowest accelleration gear ratio avaliable on a Bonne....
you still can have a "quick" L27 with a good tuneup, an intake, and highflow cat.....but if you want fast then Swap OR get a new car.....Because once you have achieved the Speed your looking for, then you have to consider the Suspension to handle the speed

Biggest limiter for me was tires. The best i could ever run was a 2.26, @ 15.99 and I could do it all day long launching at any RPM. Hell, I could light those up until 15-20 MPH depending on road surfaces.
Now with real tires, that have a nifty concept we like to call "traction". I can just fly from a dig.

If you're going Monroe, go Sensatrac if it'* in the budget.
Most L27'* for Bonnevilles are mated to 3.06 ratios. Your car SHOULD be surprisingly quick compared to other 4-door sedans. Even the L27 is known for it'* surprising torque rating off the line.

94BonnieSE,
Do us a Favor and look on the Spaer tire cover and tell us if you have F17 + 2.84 or FW2 = 3.06...
Judging by the Wheel covers I'm going to guess 2.84, but we have seen stranger..
