Agreed with everbody...180 tstat, intake and high flow cat.
It'* what I have on my car and it'* all I'm doing. I originally had plans to do tons of stuff to the motor, but there'* no point. Without a supercharger its stupid to spend gobs of money to make it faster.
I'd spend money on making it look better after the intake and cat. A tint really makes the cars look better, especially if you have a dark color.

Drive it off a cliff. That would make it faster.
But seriously, how fast are you looking to make it go? I drive a SE too, I'm not looking to make it a rocket, just plenty fast and breathe and exhale easier. I'm looking for reliablity. So I would just stick with a CAI and hi-flow cataylic converter, and maybe nitrous.

i gain 0.3 and 2 mph on the 1/4 mile with my high flow cat,... but im supercharged, dunno if youll have that kind of improvment on a NA.
I wouldnt put nitrous IF you want reliability, even a small hp shot...imo...

But nitrous doesn't add heat, it'* not used constantly like a turbo or a supercharger. Thus saving wear and tear on the motor and the transmission. I thought nitrous would be more reliable on NA cars.
Guess I must be mistaken.

Granted, nitrous can backfire on ya, but there'* nothing wrong with a bit of nitrous backfire, it'll just sterlize the car.
Fuel,
okay fine, just get the damn turbo
