No, not a chance. The valve sequence is different.

Look at your front exhaust manifold. Notice it goes exhaust, spark plug, exhaust, plug, plug, exhaust?

The Series 2 is even spacing. So the heads and lower intake manifold are different.

They go exhaust, intake, exhaust, intake, exhaust, intake. The TB is also a different size, but I assume you intended to put the M90 on?

Belt seperation is different. Their SC is the OUTSIDE belt, as the M90 has a longer nosedrive. This means a different belt path, harmonic balancer, tensioners, etc. They also drive their components with different belts than us. They can run without the SC belt, as it only powers the SC and AC. Our SC belt drives the WP, too.

Shitty at the track with horrible conditions (everyone ran about 1/2 second too slow, including the GTP'*). That was 15.5 with a 2.2 60'.

I've run 14.7 on the Gtech after a hot and cold calibration, and verifying it with the same conditions as the track (ran an identical 15.5, then let it cool down and ran the 14.7 the following morning).

I believe it'* a bit faster now......and more speed coming soon I just need to get my butt back to the track. I'd rather have the 14'* on paper than the Gtech.

Aside from a couple people on this forum having bad experiences, where else are you basing your opinion on?

Well maily horrible customer service from the tech on the phone....and the lack of knowledge he seemed to have about chip programming in general....plus they have a chip thats designed to work for only non modded cars....but performance chips are a mod...a mod that people with modded cars like to do.....I just dont understand the thinking behind this.

I recall 4 or 5 people on here having bad experiences, and until you (I assume you like yours), nothing positive. That'* tough odds to get over. Even a 50/50 like/dislike ratio would raise some serious warning flags in my mind. NOBODY dislikes the DHP, ZZP, Intense, or Jet offerings, but most of the few who tried Superchips were disappointed. Fastchips is another option that hasn't been explored here.

While checking specs between the Jet and Superchip over a year ago, it became apparent that Superchips didn't put half the effort into the job as Jet, but the price was roughly the same.

Allmachtige was one of those that ran one (in his 94 SSE, not his new SSEi).

Sorry for hi-jacking the tread but i guess the odds method is reasonable. But i have a hard time believing that there crap without seeing a comparison such as the one you saw a year ago. Basically i'm still in the process of trying to fix my car and when i swapped in the stock chip for the second time(without mini afc) it drives worse and then degresses as time goes on. The superchip however performed good on my stock engine and is better then stock eprom now. Maybe it'* because i'm a L36? i dunno. O and willwren if you could please find me more info on superchips, i swear i'll stop bugging you every time they come up. lol

Not too bad of a hijack.

And nobody is bashing your chip choice. We just don't have good experiences with them. This isn't the only time their customer service problems have been mentioned, either.

With your mods, your car should run fine with the stock Eprom and no Mini-AFC. You have a deeper problem. I suspect you may have a bad PCM. I've heard of a few oddities with the 95 L36 PCM, including jr's3800 and his failed unit. The new one was never the same. Remember that you have the first year of the L36, and we'rent fully OBD2 compliant. Odd combination.

A bad PCM could explain some of your experiences. As far as Superchips is concerned, my comparisons were made a long time ago. My internet history is a bit expired to go digging all that up. Having a 95 puts you in a unique situation. There aren't many options for you out there. But ultimately, I still firmly believe you need to remove the AFC Calibrator and Chip, and fully diagnose and repair the root problem with your car.

Well, i just sent away for a ceramic coated rear zzp ported mani and cross-over that comes w/ a stock front mani i'll port. and i plan on buying TR55IX Iridium plugs and probably some Jacobs wires. After that, if it still runs like poop, i'll take it to a speed shop.
I only giv up when i run out of ideas. (or stuff to buy )
Ok back to topic!!!

Stop modding, forget the speedshop, and hire a mechanic.
