Lol no i havn't had the chance to. Running a 1/4 flat out on a bone stock engine with 200k+ miles on it might be a little hard on her, but the tranny is fresh with only ~700 miles on it so that'd work great. There'* one stretch of road by my house that'* pretty flat & straight, i should map out a 1/4 mile is on it and get a guess-timate huh? Lol boy would that be ghetto. Maybe i will and get back to u guys, i need gas first though.. the gauge is like below the yellow hash (i know i know hard on the pump).

Funny thing is my 1990 SSE now has 2.84'* and weighs another 200+ lbs over and less mods than the Lesabre and still puts the Lesabre to shame.

Oh ya the High Output of the name is the best. Even with the 2.73 i can light the fronts up pretty well. On wet roads though, OHHH man is that fun. Spinning tires for a block (well not quite but u know the feeling).

**** son, just a block? I really hope you have long blocks. When the roads are wet [wet, not damp], raining or not; I can light them up as long as I keep my foot to the floor. Technically I am not lighting anything up because there is no smoke.. but you know what I mean. It should be really easy with you, because don't you have skinny wheels? I know mine are fatties, which just aids all the more in traction.
On dry pavement, I have never been able to light 'em up. However, I can chirp sometimes, and peeled out [two wheel] once for like 5ft. However, I like to lay off the gas now. Not too into the whole idea of spending $1,000 on a used tranny.

Yes my car factory has 205/75 R14'* (skinny) but on the front i have a set of 215'* that are pretty damn fat. If i just floor it i have to be careful because the thing will rev like crazy. If i just hold it and sit with the needle in the yellow hashes the tires will spin pretty much as long as i hold it, and that'* WITH the fat ones. The skinny ones i'm not sure of. But if i'm not mistaken justin your car has the 3.33 tranny? That'* quite a difference over the 2.73 in mine. Also you have the VIN 3 which has just a slight advantage over mine. But the grand your talking about to rebuild your tranny god forbid it breaks? Man if ur doung all of that work to your engine and your my age you can handle this tranny no problem. I just did mine over christmas, rebuild kits with complete seals and clutches (with steel plates) are like 150 bucks from any tranny place, and that includes the updated 1-2 shift spring. It'* seems like a hell of an undertaking but i ordered a rebuild manual from an internet site and did the whole thing myself (with the supervision of my veteran boss of course) in about a week, including removal cleaning and replacement.
