Unfortunately the build no longer exist on pennock'* fiero (fiero.nl) but this was a while back. This is a West Coast fiero (WCF) creation. Absolutely stock 3800 series 1 with a modified grand national turbo...5 speed.
It has since been modified..don't know much about it after the owner took it. In any regards, It was a very wild ride in a sub 3000 lbrear wheel drive car @ a total of 14-16 psi gauge. There was absolutely no hole in the powerband and if one did not modulate the throttle it will proceed to BURN rubber, from first thru third gear. For those that have driven in a fiero...it is very difficult to do this in these vehicles.
The problems associated with this type of engine configuration however has been intellectualized long before we even did it...nevertheless it works really good.
Currently some technicality is still been debated here if you interested you can come in...

hey jeff just wanted to get this info here...
started on the 80e/l67 for the rear....
going with a 4 corner solid mount system (4 bolts knda like a motorplate setup, i guess you get the idea) to drop the rear Tq link dogbones and put the weight lower
we are using braided stainless for the cooler plumbing (the rear engine/trans also has the checkvalve manifold and the trans circulation pump that has mostly braided lines already).
relocated the knock sensor (but i may have found a way to retap the OE hole to angle the sensor towards the pan and up farther into the water jacket but i gotta drag the junk block out to do that experiment
i got some pics fer ya'll so far nothing major to overcome....

GM actually makes it easy if you can do some grinding of the 4 small oe holes punched in the flexplate i'll be getting 4 reduced head 10mm bolts from arp to keep from modifying the counterweight (4bolt reworked l67 flex and OE L36 flex with holes marked)

We cant wait to get another 80e for the front but the nearly limitless room in the rear will be nice for poping our cherry with the 80e
mybuddy'* whippled 98 riviera will be getting a 3.11 aurora 80e and using the insanly easy (for riv guys) aurora mounts/axles
and yes i said whipple equiped lol he wants to push this riv HARD competing with a fellow riv guy alex in crete IL (and i get to fan the flames lol)
just wanted to say thanks for breaking new ground, and helping us travel the road less traveled with a BiiiiiiG stick

I finally have the need to finish the bonne! (I have always had the desire...)
I ordered the 65# injectors today. The T-76 turbo I bought off ebay last May has a 1.32a/r turbine hsg on it and an unknown turbine wheel. Well, after making a few calls and measurements, I find it is a Q-trim. So I ordered a .96a/r turbine hsg for it yesterday. All the parts will be here by Wed. I have to mount the turbo and build the dp and intercooler piping. Which means I need to build a l-a intercooler to be mounted in the fenderwell (where the evap canister is located). The hardwood intercooler plates are made, but I need to drill and mill them for core fitment and engine mounting. The I'll plane them until minimum hood clearance is achieved. I need to modify the fuel rails to work with the i/c. Then, the last thing, I will build the 3.5" exhaust system into 2 2.5" magnaflow mufflers, mounted Caddy STS-, ETC-style in the rear. I'll be using GP SE/GTX/GXP dual outlet SS tips in the stock bumper cut-outs.
Things should come together by the end of the month. Cross your fingers for me!

Can a S2 L67 block and rotating assembly handle the power you're planning on pushing through it? What are the limits on the stock internals?
I'm curious because I honestly don't know.
