Yes, please keep this updated. I may be helping a friend turbo his L36 soon. We have it all planned out already but it can't hurt to have some reference material.

1) Change ur sig!
2) Fly up the 1/4 mile list!
3) Profit
Looks pretty good, turbo might be a hair big, but you'll be fine, 3800'* are plenty torquey enough down low to not need a small turbo. Besides once you're off, it'* only above 3-3.5k that you need to worry about..
What cam are you using?

Sweet! A turbo can give big power increases over an SC if you can deal with the plumbing and tuning.
Yeah, that’* a big turbo. But I’d rather err on the side of too big. Sure, high boost in the midrange is a blast and gives you big-block torque, but on the downside, it is hard on headgaskets and transmissions…and is harder to hook up.
You should get some looks on the street when the turbo spools..heh heh

i've already been in a gp with the same kit and i can asure you theres no lag on that turbo! it kicks you in the pants about a 1/2 a second after you hit the gas... i wonder what kinda times i'll be able to get? with a proper launch and slicks of course.... my pc crashed 3 days ago, haven't had access to a pc until now, but i'm almost done! 2-3 days and i'll be drivin it! for cam, i'm stickin with the xp for now, i know it'* a blower cam and it makes power on top end, but i've seen some turbo 3800'* running xp cam and making BIG power! (500 whp +) maybe a statama turbo cam in the future.

Hmm, I do see a possible MAJOR issue...your main engine/trans wiring harness is gonna have to move. Even with the header wrap around the downpipe, the heat there could melt right through the loom and insulation. I think you can actually split that Yin the harness further back towards the PCM and re-loom it so you have more clearance. I'd also throw some silver heat tape around the harness. Other than that, ir looks like a terrific set-up!

yeah, good call about spliting the harness. i knew i had to move the harness but theres hardly any play in it at all. i'll try what you said, i'm sure it should be fairly easy correct.
