Trunk Lid Hinge and Torque Rods

Trunk Lid Hinge and Torque Rods
Hello fellow Olds owners,
I have a 1994 Olds 88 with a broken trunk lid torque rod (the left one). I am trying to locate a replacement. Apparently in 1994 they changed from what they called an H-link attachment to the hinge, to a Y-link attachment. I am not sure which mine is. Attached are photos of what I have. Can anyone advise if this is the H-link or the Y-link?
Thanks in advance for anyone'* reply.

I can't tell you what type it is but I can say I have the same broken hinge and I found mine at the Junkyard easy to take off harder to put on

I just had this same problem last week, I went to a pick and pull yard, looks like all H Body cars from 1992 to 1999 use the same torsion type trunk springs. Easy to repair / replace.
I removed the trunk lid from car, so it would fall or close on me, release tension on spring, do this by putting a small diameter pipe on spring end and move it out of end plate, moving the end of rod toward front of car. Remove lock ring, and then loosen bolt on trunk hinge, letting hinge drop down about a inch, the trunk spring will then be able to be removed from car.
To reinstall: support your trunk lid, remove old spring, install replacement and adjust torsion setting for proper lid hold open, on my car it went back to the middle setting on the adjustment tabs.
