I know what your talking about Timothy'* Buick. I was looking at a Actron AutoScanner Kit. Its listed for $310 in Northern Auto Parts catalog. It views and plays live data, diplays ffreeze frame data, displays and erases codes, I/M monitors, record data, display MIL status for GM, Ford and Chrysler 84-95 , 96-present for OBD1 and 2.

Sounds like a good scanner. What I really meant, were those cheap 100 dollar units, lol. 300-500 sounds like a good price range. Another good company is OTC, which alot of shops use.
