Hi!
I have an Olds Delta 88 Royal Brougham 4-door sedan, V8 diesel, 1982.
I have a slight problem with the trim around the back window, the plastic trim at the bottom of the vinyl roof.
The plastic is so old now, that itī* starting to disintegrate.
So the question is: Does anyone know IF I can buy new substitute, in metal or in plastic
Iīm located across the pond, and this car is rare over here, so no luck at scrap yards.
Thankful for any tips.
All the best
Mats
That car is rare over here as well! It looks great!
Nobody makes those any more, and I bet the NOS well has long since run dry. I think your best bet would be to remove it, have someone make a negative mold of it, then make a new one. That'* an area I haven't gotten into yet but I've seen folks do similar stuff on YouTube.
Yes, I have thought about getting a 3-d print of it.
Nothing I have any experience of, but thereī* a first time for everything.
Link to above car on Youtube, if interested.
Thank you!
A lot of work getting it this nice.
No, no aftermarket exhaust.
I think itī* stock from what I can see
Maybe the muffler is some what burnt inside..
I think I have a solution on the trim pcs.
I will post pictures when I have tried my idéa.
