fuel pressure regulator

fuel pressure regulator
Well I havent attached my pressure gauge yet. I need to put an extention on it because of the location of the valve on the front of the fuel rail.
However I have had gas in the vacumn line as regulator, not every time I check it but it has been in there. So I assume this is not a good thing ?

Get this. I just talked to the service department and the guy , when asked if it was a problem said " without the book in front of me I wouldnt know " WOA, talk about incompetent.
I really want all my money back and they can have the car back. This definantly falls under the Lemon law. I cant take it anymore.
Off to work - 12:00 - 12:00

Hey JR
FPR made no difference except cold starts - - - They are worse - - - must be it lets some pressure off over night, have to cycle pump for a second first for imeadiate starts. :?
Initial problem still exists, no change what so ever. Still waiting to hear from the dealers as to what they are going to do. I believe we are going to do a test drive with a Tech 2 attached and head for these mountain roads I drive on so it will act up. I guess the Tec 2 will "photograph" the data at that point.
Not entirely their fault. It does not throw code and does not act up under the driving conditions down there in the flat land/burbs. As often that is. Like I said the one day after driving around with the one guy it did not act up. Just after that when I left to go to work from there. It did it right leaving their lot
L36 FROM HELL !!!!!!!!!!

Steve, just reading through all your issues with your car. I really have to ask, have you connected the fuel rail pressure gage yet? -AND especially rigged up so that you can monitor while driving.
I really have to wonder about an intermittent/weak fuel pump, or lousy electrical connection at/or near the pump.
Let us know what you find !! Thanks.
