Caliper Rebuild?
#11
I did the Calipers today, actually pretty easy, amazing that'* all it takes to stop the car!
The brake fluid looked like used motor oil, changed the brake hoses, pistons, bleeders and bolt inlets, honed the calipers and cleaned up everything, installed new seals and dust seals.. lubed up the banjo'* .. then stuck a clear nylon hose onto bleeders and other end went into a jar to catch old oil and prevent air sucking back in, once clear brake fluid made it through the nylon hose, tighten the bleeder and do other side
amazing difference in braking, car seems to go easier, no dragging and brake dust
I took my time, about half a day, cleaning up wheels inside and out, changed oil, washed car, no extra parts left over...lol

On my Achieva I did the same thing on my calipers. I had one dragging a little bit and the other one wasn't really working at all. So when I compared the price of Remand calipers to a rebuild kit which only ran 8 dollars I decided to go that route. I had the pistons and the calipers ran threw a parts washer then I went ahead and painted mine before reassembly. After I did that the calipers worked really good. I never knew that my brakes would work so much better buy doing a simple rebuild.
