Yes the engine has spark. do those three wires that ground to the ignition coil, contribute to the engine not starting?

Not sure what wires your talking about. But if you have spark then the ignition is working. Do you have fuel pressure?

Talking **update**

My engine came back to life!!!!!!1 I'm now a proud mechanic of the GM 3800 Series 1 engine. My white stallion shall run once more. Also, the three wires did contribute to the ignition so thanks Dan and all of those who have helped me bring back my engine. I'm so excited to drive this to school and everywhere I go.bwoohoo:

Thanks again,
Martin

A bit hard to tell in that picture but that looks like the ICM ground.

Good to hear you got it all sorted out. First step to maintaining your car.

Thanks and it runs like a dream. All I have to do now is just replace the lead ring that joins the exhaust manifold to the exhaust pipe.

I feel like I can, but remember I take things slow. Aside from that where did you get the custom colored spark plugs and ignition coils? I was wondering where to get them 'cause they look chillin'.

Those are both MSG coils and wires. The coils are OK on a mostly stock engine, but junk on a heavily modified engine. So I took them off mine.
