Jack up car as high as possible, support sub frame on rear to supports.

Disconnect neg battery cable
Unplug the trans and remove shifter cable.

Drain trans oil.

Put jack under engine oil pan with board to lift engine.

Put 4x4 over engine to hold weight, chain to drives side of heads

Remove jack from engine.
put jack under transmission oil pan with a board. If you have an ATV/motorcycle jack, this makes it a lot easier to balance the trans.
Remove both wheels
Remove hub bolt, put at end of axle to protect end and hit with large hammer to pop loose. You will need a 34mm socket for this

Remove both end links, this makes getting at the trans mount bolts easier.

Remove castle nut on lower ball joint.

Use long pipe to pry lower control arm down to pop ball joint out. Do this on the non grease zerk side

Push axle in.
Hit the back of the CV joint with ta block of wood to remove the passenger side axle.

Remove the acc belt

Remove power steering pump, don't drop, use wire to tie off out of way

Unplug speed sensor
Remove trans mount on the diff. and the bracket between the diff and engine

Unbolt rear trans mount, have fun, it'* a pain.

Unbolt front trans mount.
Support front left corner of sub frame
Split the sub frame front right corner
Split the sub frame rear left corner
Unbolt large sub frame bolt front left corner
Lower the sub frame and move out of the way.

Remove starter and inspection panel

Unbolt torque converter from the flex plate, 3 bolts.

Disconnect 2 trans oil cooling lines. Pay close attention that you do not twist the steel tubing.

Unbolt trans from engine, 2 on top, 2 down front.
Remove cross over pipe from exhaust.
Locate backwards bolt under crossover pipe, remove

Remove dip stick tube
Use pry bar to crack trans loose of engine. move over a inch or two.

Start lowering the trans, be careful to keep it balanced.
Watch for anything missed, wires, mounts.
Set trans on floor.
