You can claim EXEMPT from income tax so none is taken out (they'll still take FICA and MED FICA). Put the money in an interest bearing account, and be prepared to to pay the taxes by April 15th. That would make your taxes effectivly less.

But taxes pay for roads, law enforcement, education, military protection, research to better the world... I agree, it'* not all spent wisely, but the money for so many things you take for granted every day has to come from somewhere.

I'm not gonna watch it. What'* this loophole?

It'* worth the watch!

Andrew, have you burned copies on DVD yet?

It'* sad when the Constitution says the people have the right to overthrow a corrupt government, but how can it really ever happen, and what would we do after it was ever "overthrown?" Who would lead such a thing?

It'* also sad when Bush signs laws and acts that defy the Constitution also.

I'll be the first one to vote for you. I'll do whatever it takes to get someone who'* not a corrupt ******** in the White House. But, unfortunately, I think a lot of this country'* troubles go much deeper than the presidency. I believe there are a lot of agendas and agreements that the President never knows about.

EDIT: By the way, does anybody ever watch Frontline on PBS? Extremely interesting, especially the episode I caught last night. Talked about Iran and their relationship with us and Iraq. We have such a convoluted history with those countries that it makes your head spin... the US uses an Iranian resistance group called the MEK that'* based in Iraq to gather counterintelligence on Iran, but this group has historically been considered a "terrorist" organization by the US. Sorta like how we gave Iraq and the Taliban most of their weapons during the Cold War to fight the Soviets. What a mess. What a God-awful ridiculous situation we've put ourselves in.

I think a lot of the country'* troubles have to do with Bush and people who are related to Bush, and their key roles in certain aspects of the government/authority now and in the past. He has immediate family that was head of security for the WTC, grandfather (or great) who was head of one of these main greedy Banks (if not the federal Reserve...it'* on the movie), and a few others I can't think of right now.

I understand your comments, but as of late I've started thinking that the problem goes even deeper than any one President. I think the US has had a trend of behavior over the last 30-40 years that has put us in a precarious position on the world stage. Though the recent war only made things worse, the conditions of peril already existed before our current president took office. The relationships forged with other organizations and nations aren't new... many have existed for years and years. I personally believe the "puppetmaster" is a person or group who have more influence than any president. I've got an ex-Marine buddy who believes our problems in the Middle East are larger than the Bush administration, and that there is something even bigger than oil that is driving the push for dominance in the region.

Scary stuff.

I hold the elected officials responsible. Hopefully when I'm president, people will wise up and elect an all new House and Senate. New people. New NON CORRUPT people. The lawmakers are at fault here. The president just signs or veto'*. Rest assured, on my watch, you will decide if I sign or veto, just as much as I will decide.

The elected officials "represent" the people, but only if it supports what they want. They will support your ideas, if you have a big enough wallet... It'* not right.

I agree. Though actually I was implying that for the past 30-40 or so years, those people that have had influence on where our country has been going are in the Bush family. lol The movie really brought to light more information that suggested this.

Nobody knows that...who knows if they are lying, if they are, they sure ain't gonna tell ya.

Personally, I think its a bit naive to believe that the powers that be in the western world do everything above the bar, the wool gets pulled over our eyes all the time. But as long as it doesn't affect our little microuniverse, we just accept it. And go on our daily lives making the best of the situation.

Whatta ya gonna do?
