I do e-commerce customer service. I been here 4 years, and it ain't too bad. Take a few phone calls, do a few e-mails. I've moved up to a semi-supervisory day shift position. I make $14.40 an hour. Basically enough for bills, beer, and bait....

I guess now I know why I still live here in Ma. Im a little over $20.00 an hour and
that is still not making much around here.(I work for a non-profit orginization)
Damn. rents alone are around a $1000.00-1200.00 a month and thats for a 2 bedroom
apartment. If you live in Boston area the rent is double that.
It use to be said that rent was one weeks pay but has changed to two weeks.
.
for those who rent Im curious as to how much you pay.

I pay 800 bux, plus uitilities, for a one bedroom duplex. The nice part, tho, is that includes cable TV and internet. AND, we get free run of the yard. The wife has a few gardens, I can wash my car in the back. ABout as nice as it gets without owning your own property

$425, one bedroom, carport, and a dog, plus utilities
Something between 20 and 30 an hour at my engineering job. Salary, I'll let you speculate as to what it actually works out to an hour.

That'* not too bad. Start calculating in overtime pay and then you really feel the bite in the ***. Just remember the more money you make, the more tax law loop holes you can exploit and keep more of that precious green.
Hmm, what was taxation without representation again?
