You would probably recognize the radiator leaning up on the shelf next to it as well if the picture wasn't so blurry.

I'm working on getting the owner of a good body shop to stop out and quote me on the repairs to the corner of the car.

I hope that you can get the SSEI back on the road too, best of luck....I have a feeling I am going to be dealing with the student loan thing too pretty soon...And that shop, I would love to have a shop like that...to be able to open all doors on my cars inside would be very nice..lol

I've been pretty lucky with my Job in that I can pay all of my bills and a large majority of my schooling off. Aside from the loans I racked up during my first year when I was making less, I haven't been racking up too much on the loans. Should end up with less than $30,000 when all is said and done.

The car will come back to life one way or another, just a matter of time and money. I've collected all of the parts needed, really just waiting on getting the corner either cut off and replaced or bent back into shape. I'm really glad to get it out of the barn and into the shop though, shouldn't have to worry much about it anymore.

I've got a big tractor, the lawn mower, and a whole pile of tools in the shop and still had plenty of room to pull in both cars and open then all up while I worked on both this weekend. Could have fit a couple more cars in to! I'm glad to finally have a place to set up shop rather than digging tools out of storage and finding a friends shop to use.

Have a nice big shop rocks. I'm loving my new tool box and bench. Nice when I'm sitting on the creeper and I just reach up and open a drawer and pull out what I need without even looking.

Nice to have a nice level surface my creeper won't get stuck on.. = P Now that I have room I'm going to start getting bigger tools boxes like what you have, my little red box is stuffed to the brim. Also nice to not have to pull out an entire storage unit to find the one tool I need hiding in the back. I have a few projects for myself and friends to start on once I get time.

Those tool boxes come from Menards. And the price is really good.

Cool, I'll have to start watching menards for sales. I know our local one sometimes does the bag deals where anything you can fit in the bag is X% off. I'm going to need a BIG bag.

SSEi has an appointment the first week of September to have the front corner section of the frame rebuilt, going to run me about $1500. Quoted me $2500 to get the car back to grey, going to have to hold off on that one. I'm still thinking about whether I want to stick with the factory color or change it up, and for a little more than what it would cost to go back to grey I should be able to get a nice custom job.

Need to acquire a left front light and left front fender still, I'll start looking for those pieces. Also need to figure out hood plans with Dan so he can start on that when he gets time.

One piece at a time = )

Update: Headlight and Fender are on their way. Gunner, you can stop scouring the junkyard go get some sleep!

That should be everything I need... remind me if I forgot something.
