wow I also can shave dry.every day with a splash of hot water. I use the mach 3'* as well
they are great. my brother thinks i'm a freak for shaving dry.
but then if I go for a 3 day weekend I will need cream.

Well, to finally get arouind to actually answering the question asked....
It is a lubricant, and it also has an ingredient to soften the hair. If y'all grew barbed wire out of your faces like I do, you'd know some sort of actual shaving cream/lotion/powder is a must!!!

You guys are crazy I have to shave everyday, and it is thik, like 10 o'clock shadow in 24 hours or less, I don't even want to try without shaving cream.

I think the feeling of a new, hot blade on my face is one of my favorite feelings. Espeacialy if I go 2 or 3 days without shaving (wich I rarely do,, can't stand the feeling, feels and sounds like someone rubbing sand paper across the pillow at night when I try to sleep)
I use the Mach 3 too,
I hear you, I'm not a creamer though, I'm gellin.

I really like the mach 3, new blad is the best.......
