Writing a book about the history of the Bonneville
Hey guys I have just had a thought about writing a book about the history of the Bonneville. The thing is that I know a company that will publish the book I just need some pictures of real bonnevilles from the 50'* to the mid 80'*. I would also like to mention the Bonneville Club in it also. I know it does sound kind of goofy but alot of other cars have their own history book so why doesn't the Bonneville have one? If you all can give me an opinion on the book that would be great.

Sweet idea. You should go ahead and include everything up to the last year, though, now that it'* leaving production.
You might want to see if GM is willing to furnish options lists, maybe do a guidebook section.

If you were serious about this book and wanted information about the Bonneville Club, I know an article in General Chat that you might be able to include. That is, if you're interested in including it. PM me if you want to move forward with the idea.

Definitely go with this idea. I wold certainly say go all the way through the newest model.
It'* a great idea. And, ofcourse you'd have to mention the club.

I can probably find some more, but some would be 35 mm photos scanned in, so I don't know how well they'll come out. My father in law used to own a 57 and a 58, as well as some Chieftans and Starchiefs. We go to a few car shows a year, so I'll see what I can find.
