WOW!!! What a payraise!
I just got informed at our quarterly meeting that we will be getting a pretty good raise.
I myself will be going from $10.15hr to $13.75hr starting January 1st. This is on top of the $1.00 raise they gave us on January1st of this year...
So I got a $4.60 raise in two years. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO

Production... Pretty much just laboror in a window plant. Nothing special..
They told us that we were behind other companies in pay, that were in related fields... So they wanted to catch us up... I really doubt that I ever get more than $.50 more a year again.... They said when the cost of living goes up then our pay will compencate.

the labor rates of production labor have been going up pretty rapidly lately.. my company was starting production people at 10/hr about 3 yrs ago, and now are starting people at 14 to stay competitive in the market in the area
Congrats on the raise!

Enjoy it while you can! They'll probably close your plant next year and shift production to China where they pay workers about 50 cents an hour!
Congrats anyways!
