Garb, you are absolutely right, I am sorry if you took my comments the wrong way. I have to say that I know nothing about WoW, I do however know about D&D, that is what my ex called it. He would spend hours upon hours playing that game, and completely shut out the rest of the world. I would come home from college on the weekends, and he would not have time for me.
You are right that there are people out there who play the game with their brains and look at it as a game, as a form of relaxation, but then you get those who take it too far, but that happens in all things. Some people spend to much time at work, or with sports, or their cars (not anyone here
). I think that everyone has lost sight of the true meaning of this thread, we can't blame just one thing on what is wrong with the world, there are many things. On the other hand there are some wonderful things in this world, friends, family, being able to talk to people on the other side of the world, quality of life is better.
It is Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend, and I think that we all need to take some time to figure out what we are thankful for.
