Plot Summary for
The World'* Fastest Indian (2005)
In `60s New Zealand, at the bottom of the world, Burt Munro takes a 1920 Indian motorcycle and, delightfully without resources other than his own obsession and a Kiwi #8 wire mentality, spends his retirement rebuilding the bike and following his dream to go to Speed Week at Salt Lake in Utah. Under funded, without the support of a team and against all the odds he not only makes it to Bonneville, he sets a national land speed record, not once, but again and again.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, go buy the DVD now!!! We picked it up at WalMart on Saturday. I normally don't buy DVDs without knowing for sure I'm going to like the movie, but since The Missus wanted it...

What a great movie!! Even if you're not into motorcycles, I highly recommend this movie.

Yeah. It'* kind of wierd seeing Hannibal Lector playing a New Zealander in his 70'* trying to get to Bonneville. With some of the problems he has getting there, you keep waiting for him to snap and start killing people...
