Yeah. I shut down my office from tonight through Sunday.
Only 1 person is onduty for graveyard shifts (I pay double overtime on turkey-day), plus one engineer person takes 24 hour shifts with the onduty cell through the weekend. We've been fortunate in that in the 5 years of operation, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays have been totally quiet.

I'm off for the rest of the week too... my company is really flexible about days off... sometimes people call in the morning and say they are taking vacation that day... one time someone called in one morning and said he was taking a week off! My boss is totally cool with it as long as you get your job done.

Off this whole week. Got over 3 weeks of time off to burn by the end of the year. Thinking of taking 2 weeks off over Christmas/NewYears.

Took off all week. Trying to get things done to the cars and the house.
Monday was a free GM Oil change and the plumber dropped by to fix some faucets.
Tuesday I had new tires put on the family van.
Today I am up early and smoking a turkey. Hard to get that sucker rolled up in the Zig Zag'*.
Every day I have been working on the Honey do list.
We are hosting dinner for 16 tomorrow and I do all the cooking.
Well it is 6:00 am and I am off to Safeway for a few last minute odds and ends.
