Default Wireless networking question......(Mac)

As you know, I have Macs. I am wanting to wirelessly connect the iMac in the living room (sisters and dad'* computer), but I am having a very hard time finding mac compatible hardware. I have completely ruled out AirPort, since the iMac DOES have a AirPort slot, but no card, and used ones run around $100, and I do not plan to spend that. Pretty much what I am looking for is a Wireless router, that I can connect to my G4 with a ethernet cable, and a USB or Ethernet wireless receiver for the iMac. The set up I am looking for is out of my cable modem, into a wireless router that can also hardwire connect to my G4, and a wireless reciever for the iMac. If you have any links you can send me to, give them to me. Thanks!

Kiss my ***.

I've tried asking at other forums, only answers I got was "AirPort". I was like "Come on, think 19 year old kid budget!"
