in the winter
how many of you drive your prized bonneville (or other car) in the snow?
aka how many people have another car for the purpose of winter driving? its only the beginning of december and my car is already feeling the effects of the weather
no chance to afford another one though.

you dont get to scrape your car off every morning, or shovel it out of your driveway or the parking lot after work, or wait an exceedingly long time to get heat on a cold start, or the thrill of salt eating away at every surface on your car!

I drive the Bonneville all year. I believe that if you wash weekly (twice a week if the DOT is out after you), and be sure to powerwash the underside very well. you'll be just fine.

During the good weather, I drive the green supercharged car. When the weather gets worse, I actually switch cars to the green supercharged car without heated mirrors and heated windshield.
Go figure.

I hate subjecting my car to the effects of winter (salt, gravel, those who haven't got a clue how to drive in the winter, etc), but don't have another option right now. I considered looking for a winter beater, but my Bonneville has Stabilitrak, the other safety features, heated seats and washer fluid which make it safer and more enjoyable car winter driving. If I got a winter car I'd have to have all this anyway, so it'd probably be another Bonneville.
