Bill, Kevin (The owner and Bill'* brother) has a dim view of 4 wheelers, especially on his property. As do most of the people around here. Most 4 wheeler owners want to dig into the ground needlessly on the paths and leave the paths created by tractors and skidsteers and tear up anything and everything. Those mindsets has created hard feelings between local snowmobiler'* and an ever increasing majority of land owners here who are fencing off and gating their properties. (Including me) It'* a shame to have to deny access to one group of people who traditionally respect land and boundaries to keep out modern idiot juveniles who want to turn all property they encounter into 4 wheeler racing tracks. Rutting paths deeply and causes natural washes to flood laterally. I personally can hear them coming down the pipeline access path on my property (that is posted when not torn down) in time to meet them bearing my rifle and a stiff warning.
Brian, I'm just picking on ya, and know the Lima area pretty well. A little flat for my tastes, but it is indeed one of the better area'* of Ohio. Hard to believe the State was at one time entirely forested.
Jack, most of us here use rifles to take turkey down. Smaller caliper rifles has some obvious advantages. I use my all around BLR .243. Bill likes his old Hornet 22 centerfire.
